How does your DRep do things?
Musa Ridwan Itopa @Unified Cardano Student 🇳🇬 𖤍@MusaRidwanItopa

Hello Everyone! i just voted Abstain on the following Governance Action: Reduce minimum Constitutional Committee size (committeeMinSize) from 7 to 5 Vote: Abstain Rationale: Voting Abstain on Reduce minimum Constitutional Committee size (committeeMinSize) from 7 to 5. As a Nigerian DRep, Unified Cardano Student Club President in Nigeria, and advocate for transparent, inclusive governance that amplifies underrepresented voices like Africa and students, I see the real risk: a single resignation could halt ratification of critical actions (like security updates or hard forks), and we've seen this play out before. The proposal offers a practical buffer while staying within constitutional guardrails (3-10 range). But I'm not fully convinced yet lowering the min size could weaken separation of powers in low-participation times (easier collusion with fewer members), and recent CC challenges (resignations over compensation, failed size increases) point to deeper issues around engagement, diversity, and incentives that we should fix first. I need more conviction that this truly enhances resilience without unintended centralization risks. Abstaining to signal thoughtful engagement while the community discusses further. Let's prioritize solutions that strengthen decentralization and inclusion for all not quick fixes. Open to evolving my view with stronger rationale or broader consensus. Delegate if you value careful, principled representation!

Don't leave your ADA sleeping in your wallet, try to make good use of it by delegating too to make your voice heard. A DRep worth delegating to: Musa Ridwan Itopa drep1yggumgdxdpa2dgr85etak35s4v00k07vdhvn5y3xxw33yac77c9hp

Fellow Cardano builders & holders in Nigeria, Africa and beyond! Your ADA isn't just sitting , it's your voice in Cardano's decentralized governance (Voltaire era). If you're staking (delegating to a pool), you can also delegate your voting power (ADA) to a DRep to echo your voice. Don't miss out and delegate today! Why delegate your voting power? 👇👇 Shape Cardano's future (protocol updates, treasury spends, constitution changes) Earn your staking rewards without interruption Support aligned representatives who vote on complex proposals so you don't have to Your Delegation= your influence. Make it count! My voting guiding principles as your potential DRep:👇👇 Decentralization first: Oppose any moves that centralize power or reduce community control. Sustainable growth: Prioritize proposals that build long-term ecosystem health, innovation & adoption (DeFi, RWAs, education in Africa). Transparency & accountability: Always explain votes publicly with reasoning Inclusivity Support initiatives that empower underrepresented regions like Africa, students & new builders. I vote with integrity for a stronger, more equitable Cardano. Ready to delegate? It's easy & risk-free (your ADA stays in your wallet, no lock-up) Here is the step by step guide to delegate your ADA: Go to gov.tools (or use your wallet's governance section: Eternl, Lace, Yoroi, etc.) Connect your wallet Search for my DRep Name or ID: MUSA RIDWAN ITOPA Or copy and paste the following ID: drep1yggumgdxdpa2dgr85etak35s4v00k07vdhvn5y3xxw33yac77c9hp Click Delegate and Confirm transaction Takes ~30 seconds. No fees beyond tiny tx cost. Questions? Drop them below, happy to guide you step-by-step.If my principles align with yours, delegate your voting power to me. Together we strengthen Cardano from Nigeria to the world! RT if you're delegating or already have. Let's build!

Wow! it feel relieving to my to be part of process in the Cardano ecosystem. And here is where my DRep journey starts from> Kindly check out my votes and rationales of the following governance actions: 1. Cardano DeFi Liquidity Budget - Withdrawal 1 2. Increase Transaction and Block Memory Units (Part 1 of 2) 3. Name Protocol Version 11 hard fork - van Rossem 4. Net Change Limit (Epoch 613 to Epoch 713) 5. DeltaDeFi: Hydra Trading Infrastructure Budget (₳1,500,000) Here are the votes and rationales: 1. Cardano DeFi Liquidity Budget - Withdrawal 1: Vote: YES Rationale: I get the hesitation treasury isn't endless, and we need every ADA to count for real impact. But blocking this setup could stall the whole DeFi push, keeping Cardano stuck with low liquidity while competitors race ahead. This small(ish) withdrawal builds the guardrails for bigger, sustainable growth that directly helps underrepresented communities: cheaper stablecoin access for remittances in Nigeria, better yield/DeFi tools for students experimenting with blockchain, more on-chain volume to fund future Catalyst rounds for African projects. Execution looks structured (legal entity + oversight under post Constitution rules), and it's tied to broader 2026 strategies (stablecoins, Bitcoin DeFi bridges, Midnight privacy for institutional stuff). We can push for cost optimizations later, but saying No now risks killing momentum when we need it most. Long live Cardano! 2. Increase Transaction and Block Memory Units (Part 1 of 2) Vote: YES Rationale: Voting YES on Increase Transaction and Block Memory Units (Part 1 of 2). As Unified Cardano Student Club President in Nigeria, and advocate for Africa/student inclusion, this parameter change unlocks more capacity for complex Plutus scripts without any treasury cost. It enables better DeFi, education tools, and real adoption in emerging markets like ours think scalable student programs or local fintech without memory bottlenecks. Tested on testnet, conservative approach, sustainable growth. Let's empower devs and users together! 3. Name Protocol Version 11 hard fork - van Rossem Vote: YES Rationale: Voting YES on Name Protocol Version 11 hard fork - van Rossem. As elected Cardano Civics Committee member, Unified Cardano Student Club President in Nigeria, and advocate for inclusive governance, this Info Action honors DRep Max van Rossem's massive contributions to our Constitution, elected CC, and community building. His work on transparency and decentralization inspires us all especially underrepresented voices like Africa/students. The PV11 upgrades (better Plutus, security) will enable more education tools and real adoption in emerging markets. Let's celebrate builders and keep growing together. 4. Net Change Limit (Epoch 613 to Epoch 713) Vote: YES Rationale: Voting YES on Net Change Limit (Epoch 613 to Epoch 713) - 350M ADA cap. As elected Cardano Civics Committee member, Unified Cardano Student Club President in Nigeria, and advocate for Africa/student inclusion, this sets a sustainable treasury ceiling (~Feb 2026–Jul 2027) without blocking governance. No NCL = no withdrawals for education/DeFi/real adoption in emerging markets like ours (**as the treasury is not endless**). Cap averages below inflows for net growth, forces transparency/prioritization, and enables smart spends (e.g., stablecoins for remittances, student tools). Let's protect the treasury while building inclusively not freeze progress. 5. DeltaDeFi: Hydra Trading Infrastructure Budget (₳1,500,000) Vote: NO Rationale: Voting NO on DeltaDeFi: Hydra Trading Infrastructure Budget (₳1,500,000) Info Action. AsUnified Cardano Student Club President in Nigeria, and advocate for Africa/student inclusion + transparent treasury use, I appreciate the vision for a fast Hydra-based order-book DEX to boost liquidity and pro trading. But 1.5M ADA feels premature when core entities (Intersect, IOG, EMURGO, Cardano Foundation, Midnight) are already coordinating major DeFi integrations (stablecoins, bridges, oracles) for ecosystem-wide impact. DeltaDeFi is live in beta with prior Catalyst support let's watch real adoption/volume first before committing more treasury funds. Prioritize coordinated, sustainable growth that empowers emerging markets without overlap. NB: ALWAYS CORRELATE MY RATIONALES TO MY DREP GUIDING PRINCIPLES AND FEEDBACKS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME 🙏
