LETS GOOOOO 🥳

Starting June 8, 2026, Roblox will be increasing the DevEx rate by 42% for eligible games that have players over 18 years old spending Robux. To be eligible, games should use R15 avatars. Full details: devforum.roblox.com/t/4607091

Today I only made $1300. Honestly, at this point I’m genuinely questioning whether Roblox is even worth it anymore. I’ve put years into learning systems, monetization, updates, analytics, community management, everything people say you’re supposed to do and this is the result? People keep saying “just be patient” or “most devs make nothing,” but if this is what success looks like, I don’t see the upside. I’m starting to think Roblox just isn’t a serious platform unless you’re insanely lucky or already massive. So I’m debating quitting and redirecting my time into software. Curious what others would do in this position double down, pivot, or walk away entirely?

Here is why this game died: 1. Didn’t focus on economy, dupers ruined everything on release of a trading update. If you are aiming to make a front page game make sure you satisfy the portion of your players who trade. 2. Terrible p2w updates, I normally advocate for p2W games however the VIP and VIP+ updates were so shitty for F2P players, it made it unplayable. 3. Weird balance updates, a player can focus on getting a really overpowered update then in one update a previously cheap and terrible unit becomes #1. What do you guys think?
