So, we took a little road trip to Baltimore yesterday to present recipient, Ayishat Yussuf w/ our 2022 #ForTheLoveOfBlackGirls Scholarship before she headed to ATL later that evening! Out of more than 50 qualified candidates, Ayishat stole the heart of our Scholarship Committee.

Congratulations, Ayishat! We are honored to have you as our 2022 recipient.

She is the FIRST recipient to attend the illustrious Spelman College. 💙 Fellow #Spelmanites, please help us welcome Ayishat into the Sisterhood! We look forward to sharing the many accolades (and passion for other Black girls) that shes possesses on our website this month.

Eating dessert before dinner?! Well our girls had dessert for lunch today! In Tuesday’s SWEET JOY Lab with Chef #LasheedaPerry, girls made confetti mugs. This lab allowed them the opportunity to explore the basic knowledge of food science; specifically baking and pastry arts!
