@ChiSoxFanMike @Meta4icall Sox have nothing to do with it. Merchandise is handled by MLB properties.
English

@Meta4icall They didn’t ask for his permission to use his name on the new City Connect jerseys. They didn’t give him compensation either. Seems like a big oversight on their part

The best player to ever put on your uniform is suing you two days before Opening Day.
Only the White Sox.

I'm a bit late to this, but Frank Thomas is suing the Chicago White Sox. law.com/radar/card/il-…
English

@Porkchop__2007 @JomboyMedia @royalpratt He’s mentioned. Second black MVP behind Dick Allen as the first.
English

Frank Thomas is suing the Chicago White Sox, Nike and Fanatics for selling City Connect jerseys using his name without receiving his permission or compensating him for it, per @royalpratt

English

@low_and_outside @RobertStock6 He didn’t want that smoke and wanted Tatis to bat.
English

@RobertStock6 How does a walk help here, really? He should be thinking game-tying RBI and be ready to hit. He wasn't. Lots of games have been won by guys smacking a pitch like that past the infield. He didn't even try. ⚾️
English

If you watch this video and STILL believe Perdomo should have swung, you’re on drugs.
Jared Skolnicki@sayhomies
Automatic Ball-Strike (ABS) says Miller's pitch to Perdomo missed low by 2.64" inches. Here's every comparable breaking ball against 6'2" hitters since 2020, with each pitch inching *closer* to the strike zone.
English

@joe4deadcat @RobertStock6 Exactly - these fools can’t even agree how many inches it was below the zone but the ump was wrong and we need ABS.
English

@RobertStock6 I’ve seen a half dozen tweets, each claiming the pitch was a different distance from the strike zone.

@knights_hs_bb @PaulHembo @WaddleandSilvy You are wrong. The zone is established by the batters normal batting stance .
English

@LeBatardShow All I hear is crying… apparently it was a forwgone conclusion the next batter would have won the game.
English

@PWaynorth @dirtydan1894 @lizaboth Competent ? The umpire score card had him at 97% accuracy , but ok .
English

@dirtydan1894 @lizaboth This is w the understanding that you have a competent ump
The pitch we're all referencing was not close enough to be called a strike w a competent ump. It wasn't close enough, the ump just blew the call - all blame to the ump, zero to the batter
English

@JTCharles01 @joeybbennett @PaulHembo Wasn’t clearly a ball but OK. Guess we’ll assume where it’s caught is a strike , got it.
English

@UnitedGreys @joeybbennett @PaulHembo It was clearly a ball.
Period.
End of debate.
We can argue semantics about takes vs not take.
But it was still very clearly a ball.
English

@JTCharles01 @joeybbennett @PaulHembo Which has also been incorrect. Point being the BS that this ball almost hit the ground is wrong and was too close to take.
English

@joeybbennett @UnitedGreys @PaulHembo The strike zone on broadcasts represents where it crosses at the plate.
Like this is common knowledge lmao
English

@PaulHembo I would like to see the angle from the third-base dugout. Height can be deceiving from this view.
English

@jen_schro Amazing play but is the batter out? I thought the rule was the ball had to go above the batters shoulders to be legally caught for an out? Maybe I’m making that up or don’t know the rule.
