@emilykmay Look up the difference in domesticated and feral hogs. Wild hogs have the exact same DNA as farm-raised pigs, but develop very differently (same genotypes but different phenotypes). Meaning: once life becomes domesticated and safe, we develop differently and genes are suppressed.

The Jordan Neely death is a tragedy. We all should agree. With that said, people on social media, on both sides, immediately jump to the most extreme conclusions without all the facts. All of the following can be true at once: - Jordan Neeley did NOT deserve to die. - The man who choked him may not have been racist. - The man who choked him probably could have used far less force, but he still may have simply wanted to help. - Just because Neely had a previous record doesn’t mean he deserved to die or deserved extreme force. - Just because Neely was peacefully dancing in prior videos doesn’t mean he couldn’t have been a threat. Instead of politicizing the situation and trying to use it to drive a wedge between us, let’s calm down and figure out how we can stop this from happening again.
