@jeromekurtiss @caulmick @Toibin1 We weren't queuing up at filthy machines to return glass bottles or wasting precious time at oft-broken/full machines where many bottles today are rejected. There is no comparison. This is a scam but a profitable one for management

@caulmick @Toibin1 So the scheme is working as intended. Those who refuse to return bottles to any number of machines nationally lose their deposit. Nobody tell Toibin about the time we had to return glass bottles to get your 5p back.

This is not about banning horses. This is not about targeting any community. This is not about harness racing at proper facilities. 👉This is about racing sulkies at speed on public roads — roads 🚸where your children walk to school 🚗where you drive to work 🚲where cyclists and pedestrians have every right to feel safe. A Garda inspector said it at a public inquest nearly a decade ago — "A sulky is not a vehicle that should be used on a public highway." The law has still not caught up. That is a disgrace. And the horses pay the price too. Earlier this year, Anne — a pregnant mare — was whipped and pushed for miles in an illegal sulky drive before being abandoned on a public road, still attached to her sulky. She died there. That is not sport. That is not culture. That is cruelty on a public road. The Minister for Justice needs to act. Limerick City and County Council is now formally calling on him to do so. Enough talk. On this day 8 years ago the people of Ireland #RepealedThe8th. They rejected the cruel almost total constitutional ban on abortion by a landslide majority. Yet today, our restrictive abortion law enacted in 2018 remains a threat to women's health and human rights.

For many people suffering Covid vaccine injury the lack of acknowledgement or understanding adds to the suffering. And then to have your suffering downplayed adds further distress.

The government has outsourced key decision making on immigration to the EU. They have also done nothing interms of the largest movement of people into this state: from Britain to the north to the south. Aontú's policy of an Irish Sea Border would help massively on this point.
