@bowtiedmeathead Like you, I take one when I feel it’s needed. Sometimes I ‘program’ one in but only take it if I feel lifeless. I’m probably at about every 9-12 weeks now. When it hits me I know.

Took the entire week off from training this past week and now chomping at the bit to get back in the gym…. Feel very refreshed right now and excited to train again (as I felt like I was going through the motions). Typically like to take a deload week every 3 months or so. What about you? Can’t wait to hear how many are gonna comment and say they haven’t taken a week off in over a year. If you’re not taking deload weeks I really question your level of intensity and commitment year round.

Gym progress is weird. you feel like nothing is happening for weeks, then suddenly your clothes fit differently and people start asking questions.

@be_like_ice Yeah you can’t bake bread in the oven unless it’s heated up. I can hardly ever control the oven. So when it’s warm is when I bake.
