@Bucket_Buffoon @DoeTheBro1 It's worth noting at least that whilst the user is clearly involved in AI, the web app itself isn't using it, & people in the comments have verified that it's code is open to view & not scraping anything. Though choosing to avoid the individual out of principle is still fair.

@LinklickZ @GAMERTAGVR This is 100% false. I and many many of my friends experienced sickness in VR when we first got it. We absolutely did overcome it. Kids are also famously quick to overcome it. I won't claim that everyone can adapt, but it's not at all a flat situation of "can or can't".

Some people try VR once, feel sick, and never go back. People who stick with it tell me they just needed time to adjust using a combination of short sessions, teleport movement, vignettes and absolutely avoid driving and flying. VR sickness is a huge hurdle regardless and hope we overcome it soon.

@purplemikey @GAMERTAGVR Example being the awful rollercoaster sims. Firstly, they're very high on discomfort for a newbie, but I think just as importantly & always overlooked in this subject, they're also just a bit crap, to be frank. They're not interactive & are a poor imitation of a known experience.

@purplemikey @GAMERTAGVR Big respect to him. I've said before that I believe there's a "motivation vs discomfort" balance, that each individual values differently. Someone who's just not that into the idea, or has a boring first time, will weigh the discomfort differently to someone who's determined.

@ff7Aerith @GAMERTAGVR Driving can definitely be a rough one. I generally consider myself mostly immune to VR sickness these days, but cars can sometimes still make me feel it. Both real and virtual. Strangely spinning around like crazy doing loops whilst wearing a jetpack does nothing to me though.

@TonyDaDesigner @GAMERTAGVR On the vibe I put the extra padding just above the forehead, which relieved pressure on the face significantly. For index I put it on the lower rear strap, allowing it to cup my head better, lifting weight off my nose. The industry needs to recognise people have unique shapes.

@TonyDaDesigner @GAMERTAGVR That's something that companies need to offer more adjustments for regarding the straps and face cushions. Out of the box I found both my Vive & Index uncomfortable. I fixed it by simply wrapping a thick sock around key points of the strap to change the fit & balance.

Not something I'd normally advise to others, unless I knew them well enough, but the experience being compelling enough to overlook discomfort can actually matter.

@Tieguaili3D @GAMERTAGVR Same. I spent my first week of owning VR getting sick several times a day, but having so much fun I didn't care. By the end of the first week it was dramatically reduced. By the second mostly gone. First game I played heavily was Sairento. Doing backflips and all sorts. :v

@GAMERTAGVR it just took intentional repeat exposure to fix my vr sickness, every day put the headset on and go to the edge of motion sickness then stop, rest, repeat the next day, now i can drive fly, roller coaster, backflip, spiderman swing, everything all day long

@SkaleySeto If I were making a healing beam, I'd make it wobblier and slower flowing, for a more "soft" and safe visual impression. Depends on what your client is expecting though.

@ssumbaka A "Full English Rice Bowl". Basically just all the meaty bits (+egg and mushrooms) that normally goes into a Full English, but you chop it up and mix it into a large bowl of rice. Salt, pepper, & mustard if you like. It's British because of the FE, and because I invented it.
