@UnlessONS there are like no specific laws against swords though, unless you’re in specific places like private buildings or public parks. The thing about swords is that realistically they are LESS deadly than knives as long as they aren’t concealed in something else.

why did people stop carrying around swords? unironically it would be an amazing idea, especially because of how difficult it is to legally carry a firearm in a lot of states. I can’t think of any argument against it really.

And doesn’t truly get outclassed on mass until the Wondernines start up in the late 70s.

There's documentary evidence of AR-15s in Vietnam jamming, with the bolt failing to fully close due to friction between the bolt carrier and upper.
This is the exact jam the forward assist solves, yet people still choose to believe Stoner (who never used any rifle in combat).

Still amazing that Eugene Stoner outright told the Marine Corps all the problems of the M16A2, but got hand waved away because the target shooters who made the changes felt "it was their baby". He was right about every criticism too.
