After losing his leg, Mohammad planted a small garden beside his shelter in Gaza. What began with a single tomato seed became a way to feed his family and support others amid repeated displacement and severe shortages.

Originally from #Senegal, Bamba Thiam arrived in #Djibouti to work alongside his cousins. Drawing on the skills passed down by his father, he eventually opened his own jewellery shop and became part of a community association supporting vulnerable families in his new home.
