A special thank you to all who chimed in here. The majority both on X and in telegram elected to make our first donation to @StJude . This organization works tirelessly to provide care for children and families fighting cancer and other rare diseases, as well as research new treatment methods. We have made a $100 donation. While it may seem small, it is only the start. This donation was sent from a private @coinbase account, so the transaction is a bit buried as a result, but in future the community has elected to set up a multi-sig wallet which will be made public and also allow others to contribute if they feel inclined to do so. We firmly feel that bringing some hope and positivity into the crypto space is important, and will continue to spread this message and embrace other projects who do the same. We are all UNO! A lengthy post (but not a thread): This entire space is built on a few fundamental principles: determination, community and camaraderie, and the belief that no matter where or what we come from we can make a better life for ourselves and the ones we love. "We're all going to make it". We are all UNO. Dad embodies these. I would like to do the same. As we move forward in our journey we will be exploring various opportunities to give back and support both animal and human organizations that align with these principles using @TheGivingBlock to select recipients and to verify all actions on chain, as well as reaching out to and collaborating with other projects who share a similar vision.
