Reality check from Joscha Bach on Piers Morgan Uncensored. He says today’s AI is not the monster from science fiction, but mostly statistical text generation.
He warns these systems still hallucinate, struggle with originality, and may need a totally new AGI approach.

Found in the attic. Took me weeks to figure out what I was even looking at.
Mr. Gurgleson's Midnight Hour. A late night kids program that apparently aired locally in 1987. I have no memory of this show. Nobody I've asked does either. But someone taped it. Multiple times. On the same tape, over other things.
Some of the clips were too far gone. What you're seeing here is the best reconstruction I could manage from what survived. I've tried to preserve the original sequence as best I could piece it together.
If you grew up watching this, I need to hear from you.

Ok, my entry for the #RunwayBigPitchContest
A little bit more rushed than I would've liked since my computer got fried in the middle but I'm really happy about it. First project I create along with my wife, who, amongst other things, acted most of the voices. We tried to put a lot of heart in this, and to put a few things in it that, without being outlandish, are not usually seen on screen. Not gonna win anything, but I made it for the joy of it, which I think is a very important thing, if not the most when creating. Originally I had some ideas in my mind that were more machiavelic in their intentions, with this being a contest and so on. I'm glad I finally did what I really wanted instead. Hope you get past the walking thing.
