Crest changes coming in Midnight! ---------------------------------------------------------- - Upgrades now require a flat 20 Crests per level (was 10/20/30/40/50 in Midnight) This is a good change, no more mental math. PLUS more crests EOD for more upgrades. Sure, are we paying more for that first upgrade? Yes but we are for sure saving more than we lost. ---------------------------------------------------------- - Crafted pieces now require 80 Crests (was 60) This isn't terrible, since the cost per upgrade was nerfed. The extra twenty needed will be easily replaced from the savings from the crest reduction ---------------------------------------------------------- - Crests now cap at 100 per week (was 90) Crest caps are still dumb and should be removed BUT at least we are getting more per week. I will take anything at this point. ---------------------------------------------------------- - Each gear track now only accepts a singular type of Crest (Champion Gear accepts Champion Crests the entire time) This just eliminates confusion and having to farm different type of content for one piece. ---------------------------------------------------------- - Each track has been standarized with 6 total tiers Standardization is always a good thing. ---------------------------------------------------------- Overall - Great changes, the only downside of this system is the first crest update for a piece of gear (1/6) is 100% more expensive and it now cost 20 extra crests for crafted gear. BUT the amount you save later in the upgrade tree? You save more in general. 9/10. Just get rid of crest caps and you have a 10/10.
