You can stuff your PDFs in S3, use Bedrock’s Knowledge Base and point to S3 as a data source which will automatically vectorize the content of your pdfs and build strands agents that uses retrieval API for knowlege base as a tool to answer your questions. Why abstract things away or use third party libraries when you can all do it in AWS and have more granular control.

I have a customer with a ton of PDFs they want an LLM on top of, but we're hitting context window limits Is there a high-level API that lets me upload a bunch of PDFs, and then provides a "tool" that I can give to an LLM?
