@proverbs31helen @TrustJesusAlone You're right. Typically, believers in OSAS will say that if a Christian lives sinfully, they were never justified or reconciled to God to begin with. There are real problems with that position as well.

Once-Saved-Always-Saved [OSAS] is a recent, false doctrine that will contribute to the devastation of the faith of countless, mostly Western believers. Hyper-grace is OSAS on steroids & leads to blasphemous, heretical ideas like this, by @TrustJesusAlone.

@gilson_kristi @JonesthePoet Jesus is the answer. Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9. Romans 10:9-10, John 14:6, Titus 3:5. There are many more. The answer isn't in just believing heaven or God is real but trusting him. Putting your full weight of trust in him.

@gilson_kristi Yes, if you are born again, you should be baptized out of obedience. But water baptism can't save you. You could get dunked, sprinkled over and over, and it won't save you. Only Jesus. The thief wasn't baptized and was told he would be in Heaven.
