Whether it be working on an electronics/vintage computer project, playing games, or just watching some Stargate, chances are I'll be up late doing it!

@natalietran Thanks BRAND NAME for reminding me, now I know I'm going to be woken up early by drums right outside my window. [checks clock] Damnit, it's already after 1 am!

@CodysLab Pick a mushroom and you can eat for a day. Turn it into a bronze mushroom and you can not eat it forever!
English

@CodysLab Pro tip: Do not eat the brass mushrooms. Regular ones taste much better.

@CodysLab We’ve all done it. Couple of weeks ago I designed a circuit, printed & transferred it onto copper clad, then etched it. Only realised I mirrored it when I went to drill the holes and noticed pin 1 of the IC was on the wrong side. Had to throw it out and do the whole thing again.

@MLE_Online @TubeTimeUS Oh dude, thanks for finding it for me. Looks like my cakeulations were a little off. Please avoid entering or looking directly into the event horizon IRL. Street view is fine, since the effects don’t translate through the screen. Also RSVP the street view driver.

@elonmusk You may not be aware of this, but Twitter is a social media company, not a scientific research organisation. Just thought I’d let you know.
English

@BradyHaran In theory more speed could mean less haste, where haste is load on server infrastructure, which could help with Twitter’s bottom line. Doesn’t help with their legal and regulatory obligations, but I guess mr odour can only work on one thing at a time.
English

Does Twitter need to be fast? I’ve never had a problem with Twitter’s “speed”!
It just needs less lying and fighting and spite.
Elon Musk@elonmusk
Significant backend server architecture changes rolled out. Twitter should feel faster.

@smartereveryday @SpaceCampUSA It’s pretty crazy, IBM were making hybrid packaged ICs decades before anyone else because they needed more integration than was possible with the silicon technology of the time.
English

@craig1black Same thing with Eagle, although I missed out buying a copy before it went subscription because I believed Autduck’s lies that they wouldn’t make it a subscription when they bought it from Farnell.
English

@TechConnectify You know what else is another social media site? YouTube. And any news site or blog that allows people to post replies. You know, the exact kind of content that people like to tweet about.
English

@lazygamereviews Well that’s fairly horrific. Here’s hoping you don’t end up a grizzly news story about a teddy bear computer case coming to life and seeking revenge for being left abandoned for years in a dank basement.
English

@GreatScottLab Oh cool, a portable wifi doge! So wireless. Much battery capacity. Wow.
English

@CodysLab I feel like this is my kind of approach to problems. Too lazy to go to the store and buy a new one, so spend 10 times more effort to “fix” the broken one using whatever is laying around the house.
English

@craig1black This is not the right time of year for a diet. I figure it’s better to not worry about it until after the celebrations. Last December/January I managed to drop 10kg in a couple of weeks by catching some mysterious kind of respiratory infection. Best diet ever!
English

@BenKrasnow @TubeTimeUS I prefer tantalum’s for those kinds of circuits. They’re practically free compared to high capacitance MLCCs, and they’re extra fun when you accidentally put them in backwards!
English

@TubeTimeUS It sure seems like mlcc could replace electrolytics in many cases like these (5V mcu rail). I do in my designs when possible. What do you think?
