@ActionRetro1 ... the problem is that ELKS doesn't support socket timeouts. Socket support is pretty limited. Now, one thing I did notice, when things get hung, we can kill the child process and things will resume! Maybe a cron script can save us ;)

Okay, I see what is going on here. Each time a connection is made, a new process is forked. That's gonna gobble up memory really fast! I wonder if I could rebuild the web server to NOT fork new connections but instead just throw them away. Not ideal, but would prevent crashes.
