There are a lot of serious crimes that aren’t considered “violent,” such as child porn, identity theft, DUI, etc.
Plus, there are illegal aliens who are under charges or have been convicted of criminal offenses in their home country.
Finally, what is this supposed to prove? Is the left’s position that foreigners have a right to enter/stay in our country illegally so long as they aren’t convicted of a violent crime?
We should want illegal aliens removed *before* an American is victimized.
