@RivianUpdates Love this idea, however, being somewhat familiar with the tent market I doubt this will be 5k. A good ikamper is 4-5k and when I have asked employees about this tent they just say it “a lot” - my theory is 8k. 😬

Rivian’s Treehouse rooftop tent might be one of their most interesting accessories yet. It plugs directly into the vehicle and includes: - 2 USB-C ports - Integrated lighting - Hard cup holder + tray - Large glass window panel - Hard shell exterior - Fan + heat controls - Optional projector Given the vehicle integration and Rivian branding, I’d expect pricing under $5K. If they hit that price with clean software integration, this could be a breakout accessory.

Here are few of the accessories we could be expected to see from Rivian in the coming months with the launch of R2, including a V2L adapter, an R2 mattress that is expected to fit 95th percentile men (6’3 and below) and a projector screen for R1 and R2. The R2 treehouse tent is expected to go on sale at the beginning of next year.

@Hilbe Oh I meant the R2. The R3 was exactly as expected and very cool. I think people are going to love it. The R2 was a bit smaller and lower than I thought. They mentioned its expected lift kits will be coming to help off roaders so they may help.
