It is pertinent to mention here that it is the first-in-kind outreach programme where the government of J&K has tried to reach the activists and hear their concerns about good governance.

Adv. Naveed Bukhtiyar, Legal Advisor and Coordinator of the J&K RTI Movement, represented the organisation before the chief secretary of J&K and other officials today at the banquet hall in Srinagar.

Naveed raised multiple issues related to the implementation of the RTI Act, the Public Service Guarantee Act, and the grievance redressal mechanism of UT.

On 12 october Adv Naveed Bukhtiyar of Uri Foundation spoke during the online public meeting to mark 18 years of the RTI Act. The meeting was organised by the National Campaign for People's Right to Information (NCPRI).
