I just cancelled my Adobe licence after many years as a customer. The new terms give Adobe "worldwide royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, distribute" or do whatever they want with any content I produce using their software. This is beyond insane. No creator in their right mind can accept this . You pay a huge monthly subscription and they want to own your content and your entire business as well. Going to have to learn some new tools.

JUST IN: Beloved restaurant Rubio's Coastal Grill is closing 48 locations in California due to inflation and a minimum wage increase. Don't worry, folks. The economy has never been better. Biden and @mcuban said so. The announcement came after CA Governor Gavin Newsom signed a law that increased minimum wage for fast-food workers from $16-$20. "The closings were brought about by the rising cost of doing business in California. While painful, the store closures are a necessary step in our strategic long-term plan to position Rubio's for success for years to come," they announced in a statement. "Those business that are not doing very well, near the shutdown margin, this increase in costs when they try to pass it on their consumers... it may be the thing that pushes them over the edge into a situation where they go out of business," said UCLA economist Brian Wheaton. Rubio's started as a walk-up taco stand in San Diego in 1983.

@Gladkill Yeah, mostly that you can run plugs at much higher quality. You could always freeze flatten first to get the same benefit with your approach, but seems like an unnecessary headache

@Gladkill I don't use Ableton anymore but you should always bounce out to take advantage of oversampling and extreme quality modes in plugins that you wouldn't be able to render live to a track first

@POTUS The income cap on the relief doesn't take into account cost of living. Expensive cities like San Francisco are going to pay higher wages on average, where someone making 120k is likely renting and living paycheck to paycheck. For many fields living elsewhere isn't an option

My Administration’s student loan repayment plan would cut Americans' monthly undergraduate loan payments in half. That means hard-working folks can get on top of their rent and their utilities. They can think about buying a home, starting a family, or starting a business.
