For decades, Pakistan has been subjected to a sustained narrative assault by India, carefully constructed, persistently amplified, and globally circulated. What we are witnessing now is not a sudden transformation, but a long-overdue correction. As the fog begins to lift, the world is starting to see Pakistan beyond the distortions: a state that has consistently signaled restraint, a society that seeks stability, and a nation that wants nothing more than to live in peace within a difficult neighborhood. What I find perhaps most striking is not just the external shift in perception, but the internal one. Pakistanis themselves are beginning to rediscover their own country, beyond imposed narratives, beyond strategic caricatures. And in that rediscovery lies something deeper: a quiet, steady reclaiming of identity which is less about reacting to others, and more about understanding ourselves on our own terms. While many in India questioned our success in Op Sindoor, forces around the world noticed it. Pakistan had to beg the US for a ceasefire. It is now a campaign being globally studied. Proud of our forces. @adgpi @IAF_MCC @indiannavy

Interesting! IAF chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh flew an F-15EX Eagle II on April 9 at Nellis AFB during his U.S. visit. The latest iteration of the venerable jet has been on offer for years, though the IAF chose the Rafale.

@ShivAroor An IAF pilot executed a landing without landing gear, which ultimately triggered a fire. It is a reminder that these aviators often face high-stakes situations that, while appearing extreme, are just a normal part of their profession. Salute to those aviators...🫡🫡🫡🇮🇳 @IAF_MCC

Imagine being an American and having this view today 😂 A country that’s been humiliated in an unpopular war, zero leverage at talks, several ‘laundry fires’, ALL its Gulf Bases hit, $200 billion vaporised in losses etc, and Iran’s regime still standing. “Head spinning” indeed.

In the aftermath of Op Sindoor, every newsroom and strategic affairs studio in India erupted with the same anguished question, 'How did we lose the narrative war?' The answer, though uncomfortable, is now unmistakably clear. India's display of military might was calibrated primarily for domestic consumption, for ratings, for rallies, for political capital, rather than for the international audiences whose alignment actually matters. We failed to leverage our geography as a strategic asset, and Pakistan knew this weakness better than we did. Today, the consequence is manifest. A roster of Pakistani officials, figures the Indian public has been taught to despise, individuals identified by our strategic community as hostile actors, are receiving public appreciation not just from President Trump, but from the entirety of the Republican administration. And this is happening within the capital of our single largest strategic partner. And to answer a lot of TV personnel who keep arguing as to how did 🇮🇳 lose the narrative warfare. Let me tell you, India did not lose the narrative war after Op Sindoor because Pakistani propaganda was superior. India lost because it was fighting the wrong war, a domestic ratings war rather than an international influence war. Pakistan understood that geography, properly leveraged, is a force multiplier and @DanQayyum.has argued about this immensely. India treated geography as a backdrop. The consequence is not merely that Pakistani officials are receiving American appreciation. The consequence is that India's most important strategic partner now sees Pakistan as indispensable and India as manageable. That is not a partnership of equals. That is a hierarchy in which India has settled for the second tier unfortunately. And unless 🇮🇳 fundamentally restructures its approach to narrative warfare, moving from domestic spectacle to sustained international influence, it will remain there.

Sharp Edge:Is Pakistan the only gainer from Trump’s Iran misadventure? Probably. But in some strange way Iran has gained too and changed Its image from a medieval fundamentalist state to becoming the country that outwitted mighty America. theprint.in/opinion/sharp-…

What everyone should note while considering what this ex-soldier is saying is that there are over 600 Indian peacekeepers currently serving in Lebanon as part of UNIFIL. This ex Indian soldier is saying Israel should drop a 100 more bombs on Lebanon.
