@ChamberofFit Here’s a question, easy enough to track caloric intake. How do I track the calories I lose? I’d like to be able to cut/bulk but it’s tough no accurately knowing how many calories I’m burning
English

Carbs don’t make you fat.
Fat doesn’t make you fat.
Protein certainly doesn’t make you fat.
High glycemic foods don’t make you fat.
Diet soda doesn’t make you fat.
Eating a cheeseburger doesn’t make you fat.
Eating seed oils doesn’t make you fat.
Spiking your blood sugar/elevating insulin doesn’t make you fat.
Consistently eating in a calorie surplus makes you fat.
Mind boggling that it’s 2026 & I still have to explain this to people.

@JoshPateCFB Gamecocks win the SEC and have top 10 scoring offense nationally. Sellers wins Heisman. Gamecocks go on to have three top 10 picks in 2027 draft. Stewart, Sellers, Harbor. From Irmo, SC. Now live in Kona, HI
Go cocks!

@DeanTTraining Could you do one of these on bulking? I’m 173 and trying to build muscle.
Thanks for everything

Fat Loss Knowledge Drop inbound…
How to Cut PROPERLY:
Step 1: Track your calories daily — take the average at the end of the week
Step 2: Track your steps daily — take the average at the end of the week
Step 3: Track your bodyweight daily — take the average at the end of the week
Step 4: Analyze your weekly averages each week after you’ve compiled 2+ weeks (preferably closer to 4) of data
If you’re losing between .5-1% of your total bodyweight per week, CHANGE NOTHING
If you’re not losing AT LEAST .5% of your total bodyweight per week, you’ve got 3 options available to you:
1) Decrease average daily calorie intake
2) Increase average daily step count
3) Some combination of 1 & 2
Generally speaking, make changes in 100-200 calorie increments and 1,000-2,000 step increments until you reach the ideal rate of loss range
Tips to facilitate hitting a calorie deficit:
1) Choose mostly whole/minimally processed foods
2) Ideal macro breakdown is .75-1x BW in lbs for Protein, .25-3x BW in lbs for Fats, and Carbs fill in the remainder of your calories
3) Avoid liquid calories like the plague unless you’ve got a low appetite
4) Aim to cook most/all of your meals at home
5) Aim to prepare meals in advance unless you’ve always got ample time to cook
6) If you are to eat out, tax the estimated calories consumed up by anywhere from 10-50% to account for larger portions/cooking in oils
7) Spread your calories evenly across 3-5 feedings per day

@realEstateTrent There are multiple unused strip centers in Kailua Kona, HI. They have turned into an eye sore. One is an old Safeway with some business some chugging along. Another an old Kmart. It would’ve incredible if you could come in and revitalize/reinvent these spaces.

MAXIMIZING MUSCLE GROWTH 101:
• progressively overload the 5-20 rep range
• train each muscle group 2x per 7-10 days
• 6-20 sets per muscle group per week
• 2-5 minutes of rest between sets
• .8-1g protein/lb bodyweight daily
• take your sets close to failure
• 7+ hrs quality sleep per night
• prioritize carbs pre-workout
• small calorie surplus
AND REMEMBER, PATIENCE IS KEY.
Muscle growth is a slow process.
But if you’re ruthlessly consistent for YEARS you’ll get as jacked as your genetics allow.
There you go. 🤝

@BeatinTheBookie That color analyst did a superb job of explaining how it should not be a TD. Kudos to him. Not sure what the refs saw

@BeatinTheBookie Can you explain why this decision was made now? Why couldn’t both parties wait until the end of the season? Then go to LSU?

@awfulannouncing Can someone explain to me why he, and LSU, couldn’t wait until he won the natty or lost in the playoff to go to LSU? Why did he have to decide now?
