I’m sorry. I don’t go out of my way to hunt for stupid, but we are giving this guy a billion of our tax dollars. I’d just feel better if he wasn‘t so impressionable. I want a normal, steady hand on the tiller.

This is an over worried about narrative. We have 6 starting level players and they will all get 28+ minutes. Not too worried about who is starting today.
Think starters may change depending on the team we are playing tbh.

He was sought after, because we were a tanking team and other teams thought they could get him for a deal. Would have been the same scenario if we had JJJ instead of Lauri throughout the tank.
Lauri is awesome, and he’s a mismatch for sure, but he needs others to create for him. And he doesn’t play defense. That’s rough for a 7 footer.
It will be interesting to see how much effort he puts into defense and rebounding this year, now that games matter.

@UtahJazzShow @jazzbeargryllz Yes? JJJ is a much better defender but Lauri brings so much offensively you’re greatly underrating him. There’s a reason why he was highly sought after by multiple teams during these tanking years and Ainge held onto him. Lauri is also a unicorn being 7 foot but playing the 3.
