Another example of @FabrizioRomano reporting a Man City signing in pounds while reporting a Man United signing in euros. Both are transfers between English clubs, so why the inconsistency? The only thing it changes is how the fee looks at first glance. This kind of slippery, weasel-worded reporting is exactly why people question his credibility. If you’re going to report transfer fees, at least apply the same standard to every club instead of constantly shifting like a paid mouth-piece.

I think Baleba could be a good signing now with the other two midfielders we’ve bought.

@the_roose1 @kampforum @NotAliGrey He’s playing the game. When the ball is out of play, then react to that. It’s normal behaviour.

@UtdFan90 @kampforum @NotAliGrey But there’s no video of him throwing his hand up or anything when the ball supposedly hits the cable (or shortly after), yes? It’s only after the goal is scored that he notifies the referee. And none of the other players react until after the goal. Which is just odd.

@andersfjell1 @NotAliGrey He would naturally have to defend first, then share his thoughts. It’s not natural for him to run out of his goal to complain when the ball is still in play. Thing is, it wasn’t a poorly sliced kick.. it looked it because of the interference.

@andersfjell1 @NotAliGrey My point is; the players reacted - something happened. However there was no evidence from the chip (allegedly), so the ref can’t act on it. There wasn’t enough info to interfere, so they had to play on. It doesn’t mean that nothing happened though..

@UtdFan90 @NotAliGrey There is a reason - they want to get the goal disallowed! If you watch the footage at the time, none of the players near the ball react as if there’s been an abrupt change. Haaland watches it all the way down and jogs along with no reaction.

@SE25EZE @andersfjell1 @NotAliGrey Yeah exactly. In hindsight it looks as if the decision quite possibly was wrong, but even now there isn’t 100% evidence for that. The goal can’t be disallowed based on available evidence at the time but it doesn’t mean nothing happened.

@andersfjell1 @UtdFan90 @NotAliGrey The only thing he can base it on is the sensors in the ball which don’t detect contact or a change in trajectory. He didn’t see anything happen live in-game, and the replays are useless too, just people making quite big assumptions that the ball changes trajectory
