@MasherJames @AngelofVerdant Waiting for his response on this with regards to clearly defined terms of engagement
English

@AngelofVerdant What why? Did you have a written agreement on what to be paid and when it should happen? Ama ilikua charity?

@georgew_simiyu @wakariowa Same case with donholm where the stage is not condusive to work as a stage and something has to be done about it to accommodate the users
English

@georgew_simiyu @wakariowa Why? The roads and infrastructures should be designed to fitthe users! It is very clear that the project did not match the users needs

@ML7077 @DavidLe76335983 Me 2. I don't even know the theme song or the general theme of this world cup!

@DavidLe76335983 Literally forgot WC2026 is next month.
Football is dead to me

FIFA is panicking as the broadcast rights for China has not been agreed one month before the World Cup and is cutting the price significantly
Originally demanding US$300 million, the drop to between US$120 million and US$150 million is still some way above the US$80 million CCTV had said it would pay.
Though football has a huge fan base in China, this World Cup is not necessarily bringing in a lot of ad revenue for CCTV
1. Most of the matches will be in the middle of the nights
2. China is not qualified
3. TV commentators and journalists may not be able to report live on the ground because of US entry concerns
FIFA officials are reportedly flying to China in a bid to get the country’s state broadcaster to buy the television rights to this year’s World Cup, and are offering to slash the asking price by more than 50 per cent.

@yabbanx What about the environmental effect such cars will have on Africa?

When studying history, I noticed that many of the methods and reforms countries used to rebuild and prosper after World War II are mostly considered unacceptable or even illegal today. Developing countries aren’t allowed to replicate the same playbook. It feels like they changed the rules after reaching the finish line. They climbed up with one ladder and then pulled it up behind them

@Queenjazzheart2 @Peace_Makarr @Burkindi_ Unfortunately this is part of human nature...and this is what imperialist take advantage of globally! Divide and rule tactics
English

@Peace_Makarr @Burkindi_ Do you think saying this is not you being used against your kinsmen? Do you think this is neutral?

@BishopLGaiters @AJEnglish And yet you expect Iran not to have nuclear weapons
English

@AJEnglish THEN ALL OF IRAN WILL BE ABSOLUTELY “NUKED” THREE THOUSAND TIMES MORE POWERFUL THAN HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI🔥🔥🔥
English

Donald Trump has set a Tuesday deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face 'hell', saying the US will strike power plants and bridges. Iran says it will respond 'in kind' to any attacks on its infrastructure.

🇨🇩👏🏽 A few days ago, when the Democratic Republic of the Congo qualified for the World Cup, their goalkeeping coach celebrated by jumping while sitting on the pitch.
Yes, it was Robert Kidiaba, the goalkeeper who immortalized that celebration back in 2010, when TP Mazembe became the first African club to reach the FIFA Club World Cup final, where they lost to Inter.
With his dances and his saves, he became a legend of the Congolese club, winning 15 trophies, including 3 CAF Champions League titles.
He is also a very beloved figure in his country for his community projects supporting vulnerable communities, to the point that he even became a member of parliament in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
At 50 years old, he will be at the 2026 World Cup as part of his national team’s coaching staff. 🧤

@ngughii They have no leverage on him: Not Physically, Financially or Socially. You can't even shame him coz he's not trying to impress anyone 😂 just unapologetically himself and says what he believes
