ASA-CSSA-SSSA meeting at St. Louis was great! Lab @UtSoil was well represented by @RachelWooliver @Ravi_Neelipally @rpatra7628 I joined a panel to share my career path with students and organized several sessions! @Ravi_Neelipally winning a poster award was a cherry on top!

My lab @UtSoil led the preparation of Edible Soil Dessert for @UTIAg Ag Day! This year ~250 Dewey Soil Dessert jars were gone in the blink of an eye! Plus, our department table won the award! Thanks to @Ravi_Neelipally for making a pretty poster for display!

Woo-hoo! My second grant as a graduate student got funded🎉 Thanks to @SouthernSARE Graduate Student Grant. We're gearing up to make big waves in organic wheat-soybean #doublecrop farming in the Southeast🌾 Grateful to my mentors @JagadammaSindhu @DebSahas #OrganicFarming @UtSoil

Towards the goal of improving southeastern grasslands! Honored to be part of this $30M Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities project led by Dr. Pat Keyser at @UTIAg Select PIs, extension agents and many stakeholders met recently to plot out the roadmap for success!

On day 1 in Ethiopia 🇪🇹 we visited Sabahar, a #fairtrade company that produces hand made #cotton & silk textiles using traditional approaches. They are focused on preserving the rich #weaving tradition of #Ethiopia with a focus on #sustainability & employment for #women.
