my first job out of college, did they ask where i went to school, what degree i have? no, they liked that i spam called them from a craiglist post ive hired 3 elite people to help me with my businesses 1 didnt graduate high school, 1 of them dropped out of college, and the other is 18 they make much more than the median salary in the united states, they just developed unique skills from passions

Unpopular opinion from someone who builds wallets for a living: No crypto-native product is going to iterate its way into mainstream adoption. The gap between what our current users want and what mainstream retail needs isn't a UX problem. It's a completely different product with a completely different trust model. Our users want sovereignty. The next 100M users want a safety net. You can't give them one without taking it from the other. I've watched teams try. They start adding mainstream-friendly features, the core community gets uncomfortable, and the product drifts into this dead zone where it's too complicated for normies and too watered down for natives. Nobody's happy. The app doesn't feel like anything anymore. The mainstream crypto product that actually works probably doesn't say "crypto" anywhere on the landing page. And it probably isn't built by iterating on what exists today. It's something new, from scratch, with the chain running invisibly underneath. Wallet builders need to start asking a harder question: are we the app, or are we the plumbing inside someone else's app. I don't think most of us are ready for that answer.

There’s nothing left. No more catalysts. Nothing to believe in. Web3 was a lie, NFTs failed. ALT season is done forever. Quantum fud. Crypto is now directly tied to Trump (which is not good). Saylor is the only bull left. Institutions are selling every day. Crypto Twitter is dead. People are leaving left and right. WIF spawed in these exact conditions.

@sunnydecree In the real world except Bitcoin and stable coins no crypto is actually used. And as for the stable coins they violate the foundation, i.e decentralization. They are centralized. now genius, anything else ?

In the real world, nobody is using Ethereum. Nobody. And yet people keep buying it. $250 billion market cap. The same as Nestlé or Intel...

@MINHxDYNASTY True. If you have interest in academics, have a vision aligning with it then go for it but if not then that place is not for you. But I still suggest everyone to go to college just to ensure that you have a +1 way of getting employed in times of uncertainty.

if you're thinking about going to college, REALLY think about it ive had a handful of people who are about to graduate high school ask me if it's a smart decision to go to university. coming from asian/ethnic households, this is usually the route family wants you to go. in the months that proceeded, they are now in places most graduates would dream of. and 5 years ahead. i went to college because i thought it was the right path. and 2 years in when i realized what was up, i just decided to finish it to make my parents happy. i realized a few years later, that they wouldn't have cared if i dropped out. the prices of going to college are just not worth it. yes you learn some things in class, yes you're surrounded by thousands of people your age (fun), but on paper, it just doesn't make sense. you can do all of that for free. if anything take that $50k a year and have fun. all the work opportunities that ive had, all come from eq. how to speak to people, how you listen, how you problem solve. none of it came from learning about how the ming dynasty survived for 100 years. you can learn that from a free article on google. so just really think. think about where you want to be in a few years. what is the best way to get there? and walk down that path. if it is college, that go at it at 150%, but make sure it is well worth it.
