Today is the equinox day, when the sun rises due east & sets due west, the setting sun's rays pass sequentially through the 5 windows/openings in the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala's (India)tall gopuram (entrance tower). Not a coincidence but an intentional ancient engineering tied to astronomy & precise design. The Earth rotates at a speed of approximately 0.25 degrees/min. To have the sun jump from 1 window to the next in exactly 5 mins, the vertical angle b/w each window opening must be precisely 1.25 degrees relative to a specific observation point on the ground. The architects built a Vertical Protractor. They calculated the height of the Gopuram (tower) & the distance of the viewer to ensure the frame rate of the sun matched the human sense of a significant interval (5 mins). 🙏🙏🙏🙏

In most animals, hormones regulate sex. But in this rare Indian crab, the maleness & femaleness are cellular. This is not a hermaphrodite (which has both sets of organs) for sure but a Bilateral Gynandromorph. If we were to draw a line exactly down the center of the crab’s shell (the carapace), the left side might be genetically 100% male & the right side 100% female (butterflies with male/female wings show courtship conflicts; birds may sing/display differently per side).

But something truly surprising happens when you look at certain fractions. Take this: 1/9899 = 0.000101020305081321345590… And this: 1/998999 = 0.00000100100200300500801302103405508… If you observe carefully, the digits are forming Fibonacci numbers, placed one after another. And the pattern continues. You can generate more examples by simply adding a 9 to both the beginning and the end of the denominator. For example: 1/99989999 Each time, the decimal expansion continues to “encode” the Fibonacci sequence in a beautiful and unexpected way.
