@BurgerboyguyVO Public listening and usually feedback is something that could happen for contests, ive seen it happen for that and even in that case you had the option to opt out. Plus no one would do you dirty like this or judge your appearance or your CCC account. You are there for the acting.

@VAPavle Like. As someone who tends to help with casting just the concept of public listening sounds weird to me. Mainly because usually before sending to a client I listen to everything multiple times and take notes of what I liked.

This is a perfect example of how NOT to do a casting call. Public reactions to auditions should be disclosed ahead of time. They should be treated with more respect than listening to a few seconds and making fun of people. This is so unprofessional and mean spirited.

No more actors, ADR writers & voice directors, engineers, producers, talent coordinators, agents&agencies… No thrill of meeting the actors at cons, signed prints, panels, road stories… No more “one more take” “but your throat!” “yeah, but this means everything to me!” It’s sad.
