That was a blatant penalty on Madueke. This referee is a disgrace.

Is Electricity getting better in Lagos? Here is a view of homes as our plane was landing around 5am. Seems to be way more light than I've seen before, but then again it's been a long time I flew into Lagos in the morning.

If you were going to sack Arne, why didn’t you go for Xabi? Why let him go to Chelsea? Michael Edwards and Hughes have been underwhelming

@eldivine How the story of Biafra is repeatedly being told as an Igbo story needs to be studied.

Biafra was not only an Igbo story. I know many Efiks, Ibibio, many Ijaw, many Urhobos, many Itsekiri, many Iyalla, many Ogoja who lost loved ones to the war. It was something that happened to the whole region, and beyond. And Nigeria must PROPERLY reckon with its ghosts so that they can be properly buried.

For Nigerians, please don't play the game of political banter with paid APC operatives. Block them and keep stating your points against the bad governance we have had. They are a distraction that needs to be isolated.

@oluyanimi Seun: You’re running for the third time. Atiku is your mentor? Sowore: Peter Obi will be running for the third time. Is this guy in love with Peter Obi?

I remembered when i was relieved from my job years ago. The only thing i had was my two bedroom flats at ilupeju and my CRV Honda Jeep. One day, i drove the jeep to visit a friend who's now an AGM in one of the leading banks in Nigeria. He asked what was i doing with the jeep, and he advised me to sell the jeep to buy a big daddy Toyota camry and do taxi. Honestly, i was furious in my spirit, but after thinking through, i decided to give it a trial, I quickly let pride go because i need money for survival... Then, one fateful mid- afternoon, i picked a woman from surulere to ikotun. When we arrived, she tried transferring twice, but money didn't drop in my account. She then decided to get cash(2400). I left to pick up someone else. While driving on the express, the money dropped in my account, 20 minutes later, she called, and I told her to forward her details, which she did, and joyfully sent her back her money. She later called me to make a statement, she said as from today " It won't be far fetched for you," and since then, it has been breakthrough upon breakthrough

Funny guy. Elections are around the corner, and instead of showing results, he’s busy securing relevance for another four years. So what exactly is the difference between wearing the infinity cap and claiming you’re not APC? Voice of Jacob, hand of Esau.
JT Atta Thaddeus@_JtAtta

It has come to my attention that false claims are being circulated alleging that I once decamped, or attempted to decamp, to a political party I have never had any affiliation with politically. This is completely false, unfounded, misleading and indeed malicious.

I have been following this silently. I wanted to read the arguments from both sides before forming an opinion. I do not personally know @Morris_Monye. In fact, it was from a post by @Wizarab10 sometime ago that I even learnt he came from a wealthy background. That said, I have seen many of his tweets on my timeline over the years and I have quoted him several times. Having read the now-deleted letter, the accusations and the rebuttals, I have come to a few conclusions: 1. Morris’ public resignation was unnecessary in the manner it was done. He was not the only prominent person in the Obidient movement who became dissatisfied or stepped away, but the public nature and timing of his resignation created avoidable political damage for the movement. The fact that APC figures like Bashir Ahmad and Wale Edun publicly embraced the resignation immediately after amplified that damage politically, whether intentional or not. Coming right after Labour Party’s poor showing in Anambra, a state closely associated with Peter Obi politically and emotionally, made the optics even worse. 2. I do not believe Morris intended to harm Peter Obi or the movement. However, politics is not judged only by intention. It is also judged by timing, perception and consequences. I believe this situation escalated more than it should have, and emotions on all sides contributed to that escalation. That said, Morris remains someone who contributed meaningfully to the movement and should not simply be discarded because of one political miscalculation. At the same time, many Obidients genuinely feel hurt and disappointed by how events unfolded. And when people feel hurt, sometimes explanations are less important than acknowledgment. A sincere acknowledgement from Morris about the hurt people feel would go a long way in closing this chapter. The Obidient movement is bigger than any single individual, but it is also built on people who have all invested emotionally in it. Hopefully, everyone involved learns from this and moves forward wiser. Good luck with your campaign Morris.
