It's actually insane that the average International and most Asian student rejects from US Medical school have better MCAT scores and GPA than the Black and Hispanic accepts. How is non-meritocratic admissions tenable when it comes to saving lives?

@aleffert There should be a regular holiday when you call everyone you’ve ever had a crush on and tell them so it’s not a big thing, just a a casual thing everyone’s doing. Also you eat cookies or maybe small cakes that day.

@mowwyjane Pro tip: Insert an 18G needle parallel to the barbed portion. The hole in the needle goes over the barb, covering it as you pull out needle and fish hook together. I've used it for years with good success.
