A news or catalyst can never "fail"...Only in hindsight. In real time, all you see is the market's response. What I've observed is that don't judge a catalyst/news solely by the closing price. I'm more interested in how participants react to the news. If a stock gaps up and rallies intraday immediately after an announcement, that tells me there was genuine interest. Whether it sustains or not is a different question. Gap-ups often reflect strong initial demand, but not all of them turn into lasting trends. I'm not trying to copy anyone's framework or predict which catalyst will definitely work.I'm simply looking for factors that can increase the odds. In real time, trading is a game of probabilities. A catalyst is just another piece of evidence that can add confidence. If the chart, price action, and catalyst/news all align, I'm sometimes willing to size up.

#STALLION : 35% in 10 days. Nothing complicated here. The setup was there, the Chemicals group was strong, and I took the first entry near 186 before adding again near 204. Today it is up 13%, and from the first entry the trade is now showing 35%+. It was also the only name that held through the market chaos. That relative outperformance was the conviction to go big with theme as backup Same playbook. Same character. Names like #MTARTECH, #AZAD, #AEQUS, and #FCL have shown the same type of behaviour before & all present on my timeline before actual breakouts

#AZAD Got a catalyst yesterday. Didn't expect such a strong gap-up today, and it's now following through on the upside.I was so close to hitting my stop if it didn;t gapped up . Sometimes everything just lines up . the setup, the catalyst. I'll happily take this one. Maybe a bit of luck too.
