Vin Krueger runs a blistering 4:06.90 to win the Division 3 boys 1600 meter title. That time is the eight-fastest in area history, and the fastest ever by a runner not from Newbury Park or Ventura.

Newbury Park storms to the win in the boys 4x100 meter relay in 40.68 seconds, setting new CIF-SS and Ventura County records in the event.

Thacher senior Rafa Kelliher, from Chicago, has won the first CIF-Southern Section title of the day in the Division 4 boys high jump. He clears six feet, six inches and will move on to the Masters Championships next weekend. @vcspreps

A loud gym here at Cerritos College seems to be affecting the Highlanders, who dropped a competitive third set 27-25 to Sunny Hills on this miscommunication on defense. Royal trails two sets to one.
