I was happy to speak with Andy Burnham @andyburnham and congratulate him on taking office as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. I truly appreciate that the support for Ukraine and our people will remain steadfast. Thank you for your warm words of respect for the Ukrainian people and for your condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed in Russia's recent attacks. Ukraine and the United Kingdom have built the strongest partnership in the history of relations between our two countries, and we will certainly continue working to expand it even further. We agreed to discuss our future cooperation, including our work within the Anti-Ballistic Coalition, during a meeting in the near future. Thank you, Andy. Thank you, Britain!

În cursul nopții trecute, nava LPG Gas Lisbon, sub pavilion liberian, a fost lovită în afara apelor teritoriale ale României, la aproximativ 20 de mile marine în largul țărmului românesc. 
La scurt timp după incident, două nave ale Agenției Române de Salvare a Vieții Omenești pe Mare s-au deplasat la fața locului și au evacuat întregul echipaj, inclusiv cei trei membri răniți. Toți au fost aduși în siguranță la țărm. 
De asemenea, un remorcher trimis în zonă se asigură că nava nu intră în derivă și că nu reprezintă un pericol suplimentar pentru siguranța navigației.
Instituțiile statului sunt în alertă și vor clarifica circumstanțele, cauzele și responsabilitățile aferente acestui grav incident, cel mai probabil parte a războiul ilegal de agresiune al Federației Ruse împotriva Ucrainei. 
Nava provenea din portul Alexandria, Egipt, și se îndrepta către portul ucrainean Reni.

@ZelenskyyUa Get nukes (don't use them) - it's the only way to end this without losing Ukraine. Anything else is just slowing them hoping Putin passes before they take the country. There's no guarantee his successor won't keep pushing though. Nukes are the only way out.

Last night’s attack was one of the largest Russian ballistic missile attacks to date. Kyiv and the Kyiv region were the Russians’ primary target. They had been preparing this attack for several days, stockpiling missiles. The threat, of course, remains even now, and this must be taken into account. Russia is placing its wagers on ballistic missiles, and it is because of them that Putin still believes in his war. It is very important that our partners understand what is happening and that air defense missiles are needed to protect lives literally every single day. It is important to accelerate everything – both with our European partners and with the United States.

Today, our long-range sanctions worked across three areas on Russian territory, as well as on our temporarily occupied land and at sea. In particular, in response to Russian strikes on our civilian infrastructure and on our cities and communities, two major logistics facilities were hit – in the Moscow and Tambov regions, more than 500 and nearly 700 kilometers from the front line. The aggressor used them to supply sanctioned components for drone production and navigation equipment. An oil facility was also struck. In addition, Ukrainian mid-range strikes engaged targets in the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, and in our temporarily occupied Crimea. I thank the warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine – every unit of Ukraine's Defense Forces – for their precise and coordinated execution of these missions. Glory to Ukraine!

It was a good chance to catch up in Washington with my Bolivian counterpart, Fernando Hugo Aramayo Carrascol (@Fer_Aramayo_C). We celebrated the significant diplomatic milestone of our bilateral relationship: the visa-free travel for Romanians to Bolivia 🇧🇴 🇷🇴 starting december 1st last year. We also explored ways to deepen bilateral dialogue within the EU-CELAC framework.
