Boris Kamgo 🇨🇲 : un entrepreneur camerounais engagé dans l’agro-industrie et la transformation locale. Boris Kamgo est un entrepreneur camerounais qui s’est spécialisé dans la production agricole et la transformation agroalimentaire, notamment autour de l’ananas et de la pisciculture. Il développe de vastes plantations d’ananas dans la localité de Dibamba, au Cameroun, où il a progressivement structuré une chaîne de production allant de la culture à la transformation industrielle en jus naturel. À travers ses activités, il est présenté comme le fondateur de Agro World Group et propriétaire de la marque de jus naturel Agro Fresh. Son parcours aurait été influencé par un voyage au Mexique, au cours duquel il découvre des systèmes de production et de transformation de l’ananas à grande échelle. Cette expérience l’incite à se former davantage dans le domaine agro-industriel et à investir dans la valorisation locale des fruits au Cameroun. De retour au pays, il commence par acheter des ananas auprès de producteurs locaux pour les transformer en jus. Cependant, il observe des variations de goût liées aux méthodes de culture et à l’usage d’intrants agricoles. Cette expérience le pousse à développer sa propre plantation afin de mieux contrôler la qualité de sa production. Il met ainsi en place une exploitation à Dibamba, une zone au sol fertile, où il développe une production intégrée. L’exploitation dépasserait aujourd’hui les 100 000 ananas récoltés par mois selon certaines estimations. Dans une logique d’optimisation agricole, il associe également différentes cultures, notamment des bananiers et des arbres fruitiers, afin de diversifier la production et améliorer l’écosystème de la plantation. Son approche est présentée comme orientée vers une agriculture plus naturelle, intégrant des fertilisants organiques issus de l’élevage bovin, dans une logique d’économie circulaire. Il disposerait également d’un élevage de bovins à proximité de la plantation, permettant de recycler les sous-produits agricoles pour l’alimentation animale.

Let me be honest. I wanted to stay Muslim so badly. Not even because of God at first, but because of the life attached to it. My dad’s businesses were waiting for me. Signed and ready. My mom’s community. Doctors, lawyers, politicians. Connections everywhere. Success was laid out in front of me. There was even an arranged marriage lined up. A doctor. Beautiful future. House. Wedding. Stability. All I had to do was say one sentence: “Yeah, I still believe.” That was it. Keep the money. Keep the family approval. Keep the life. But here’s what ruined it for me: I could not unsee Jesus. Once I really read the Quran and compared it to the Gospel, I couldn’t force myself back into pretending. And honestly, knowledge becomes heavy at that point. Because I didn’t leave Islam to rebel. I left because I could not betray what I believed was true. No business opportunity, no relationship, no comfortable future was worth denying the King who gave His life for me. So yeah, my life would have been easier if I stayed. But when Jesus says, “I am the way,” you don’t answer with, “But the other path feels safer.” You pick up your cross and walk.
