Vega alleged that CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss, a self-declared “Zionist fanatic,” and other executives pushed her to report on events that "never happened" and sought to inject political bias into several segments. In one case she was asked to describe Iran as being "outgunned by the United States and Israel," which she called "an administration talking point." CBS has denied the allegations, stating they are "not based in reality." Vega was among several prominent 60 Minutes journalists dismissed from the program earlier this year.

It's pretty amazing how someone could say "China is trying to destroy our country" or "Russia is trying to destroy our country" and people will nod and eat it up. But if you said "israel is trying to destroy our country" you're mocked and cast out like a leper.
