I think a good rule of thumb would be to go through your closet and get rid of almost everything you haven’t worn in a year, sell it all, then go to eBay and find some high quality vintage pieces, take it your local tailor, you’ll never have more confidence in yourself

Underrated sign of enormous AURA: owning 10–20 timeless, beautifully made pieces and wearing them over and over again instead of constantly buying cheap fast fashion slop. Beautiful materials, immaculate cuts; ideally vintage designer pieces hunted down at auctions or through resellers. Signature sunglasses. Jewellery passed down from your grandmother. Not many things more enigmatic than someone with a strong personal uniform, wrapped in exquisite fabrics, who never looks like they’re chasing cheap trends.
