⚠️ Hot take: Kaguya wasn’t needed. Madara was the perfect final villain for Shippuden. He had the perfect build-up, the deep tragedy, the personal rivalry with Hashirama, the ideology, and the raw power. Everything about him felt earned. Bringing in Kaguya as the “true” final boss at the last minute felt like a cheap asspull that undermined everything Madara represented. Madara should have been the endgame. The war should have ended with him. Anyone else agrees with me ? 🫴🏾

@BruteTigrexx @oghenetefe He smartly incorporated them by tying them into the original story yet still introduced new themes that allows for greater power scaling and adds interest back into the story. Boruto is actually peak

@BruteTigrexx @oghenetefe Also otsutsuki arrival ends up explaining the whole concept of chakra fruit, god tree, kaguya/sage of six paths, tailed beasts etc. so it’s not like it’s a whole brand new concept that has no relation to shippuden at all.

@oghenetefe No. But that's Shounen. The author can have an idea of how his/her manga will end, or even key points but the true skill is making things up as you go along.

Trur bro, Kishimoto wrote Madara as this unstoppable force with insane buildup his rivalry, ideology, everything felt earned. Then boom, Otsutsuki plot device to nerf him for Boruto's alien saga. No real closure, just "lol Black Zetsu betrayal" and he's gone. Madara deserved a proper Hashirama-level finale. The lore was peak without the god-tier family drama.
