In this very exciting paper by awesome @VForouhar, we found very cool results we didn't expect. We went for a hunt for signatures of warm dark matter in global properties of stellar halos. We found (almost) non. but we found self-interacting DM leaves very distinct signatures!/1

Wow! Exactly eight years ago I was travelling to Durham to start my undergraduate degree. I once again find myself travelling there, but this time to defend my PhD thesis.

Today is my last day in Durham, where I have met lots of wonderful people over the past eight years. I will be flying to the Netherlands, where I will start my first postdoctoral position, based in Leiden University. I am extremely excited for what lies ahead!
