Wasn't the perfect response after the goal from VGK, but they did enough to survive the little push from ANA to end the period. Still in the driver's seat and really just need to be under control and poised to get to the finish line here.

Understandable why it’s only a game. In case you’re wondering why it’s not more or less; it’s a very “grey” matter (no pun intended) because it wasn’t a direct attempt to hit the head but it was late and he did connect with Poehling in the chin which resulted him getting whiplash

NHL DoPS determined McNabb delivered a late hit with “considerable force” against an player ineligible to be hit which resulted in an injury. NHL DoPS said that the interference penalty, Poehling’s injury and McNabb’s clean discipline history led to the 1-game ban. #FlyTogether
