You know what just hit me and is kind of fucking sad? PC is bigger than both PlayStation and Xbox combined at this point. Far more players on Steam than PS and Xbox. The PC is a hell of a lot more relevant than Xbox. People that own a Series S are going to get to play GTAVI at some bullshit settings. PC gamers will have to wait a year or two. They’d sell more copies on Steam than Xbox if they released the same day. I’d bet money on that. 30-40% of their sales would be PC. I’m seriously that confident.

Yep. That’s usually how the sale of a game goes. First six months to a year really tell the tale for most games. Let’s conveniently leave it out that it released on PC two years later. I’m sure the hype being completely dead and the sense of “I’ve already played that” or “I don’t want really care about it much anymore. Grab that on a very deep sale” had absolutely nothing to do with it. Sure. Yeah. PC hasn’t grown to a much larger install base than both consoles combined in that time or anything. I’m not Nostradamus or anything but I’d guess releasing a year or two later will with VI will result in similar outcomes lol

I’d imagine that it would. It released on consoles three or four times in slightly different marketing/packaging. I am not talking overall revenue through 13yrs of multiple releases to the PC’s one. I’m simply talking day one sales for GTAVI. PC vs Xbox. Yes I’m taking that bet(especially if it was releasing same time on PC).
