It's so sad to read that the @theborderline is closing its doors. Another iconic London venue full of memories and music history unable to survive against ever increasing rent and business rates. 😔 . That is tragic.

to which the reply was 'yes but what's your real job'. !?!?!? . followed by 'people pay you to sing?' and other ridiculous remarks. Not only is that SO insulting, I COULDN'T EVEN REPLY because my mouth was filled with dental tools, so I only managed a few horrible 'ah' sounds

I went to the dentist today and was asked what I did (we have the same conversation every time and I've been going to the same dentist my whole life...but hey I understand the amount of people that go in every day). I replied 'I write music, sing + study too'
