Upskirting carries a sentence of up to two years in prison. Nigel Farage's nephew has just pleaded guilty and only been fined. So that's what Farage meant by two-tier policing!

The Government plan is to temporarily renationalise Thames Water, for you to pay off its debts, and then to let someone else takeover so they can rob you, build up massive debts and do the same all over again. NO water should be NATIONALISED. RT if you agree.

One possible leader of the Conservative party is a man who painted over cartoons at an asylum seeker children's centre The other candidate admitted to hacking an MPs website That either made it this far goes to show how utterly depraved the Conservative party has become Vile

You clearly have absolutely no idea how the UK law on international treaties works. Of course parliament has a role. It’s laid out in the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010 (c. 25).
Nigel Farage MP@Nigel_Farage

Parliament must have a debate and a vote on the surrender of the Chagos Islands when it returns on Monday. No government should be able to surrender sovereignty without debate, especially as this was not in the Labour manifesto.

So I made the mistake of looking at the @BBCNews website today. It reads like the UK Conservative Party has editorial control. A shame to see the once independent BBC come to this.

The Media didn't hold the Conservatives to account because it is owned by the Conservatives. Can people please learn this, it is very simple. Then we can stop acting surprised about it.

King Charles inherited £650m tax free, gets £125m a year tax free from the tax payer and has an estate worth £22bn that’s never taxed. But he still needed a 45% pay rise. Like if he needs a pay cut. RT if you want the Monarchy gone. #NotmyKing #AbolishTheMonarchy

Study links hospital privatisation to worse patient care. Privatisation hiked profits, fewer cleaning staff, higher rates of patient infections, higher rates of avoidable deaths. Govt pushing UK into privatisation. Must oppose privatisation of the NHS. ox.ac.uk/news/2024-02-2…

This Sue Gray story is a tedious non story but it shows the difference in reporting Tories v Labour in power. Her effective predecessor; Simon Case, was paid more than her and, therefore, more than any of the PMs he served, why was that not news?

It strikes me as strange that MP's are on £95k and they get all their heating and electrical bills paid. But a pensioner must be on less than £12k and then they have to apply to get £200. Seems like these MP's should be paying their own bills.

In the 1960's and 70's the richest people in the USA and UK paid 80 or even 90% tax and there were no Tax Havens. Now they pay 20 or 40% maximum but most use Tax Havens and pay 0%. When did super rich people not paying tax become acceptable?

If you got rid of the Bankers Tax Cut that Rishi Sunak gave them in May 2023, you could pay for both the Winter Fuel Allowance and the Two Child Benefit Cap. The Banks even said at the time that they didn't want it. So why do they still have it?
