Markets closing at the end of the day is a legacy design choice. Tokenization opens the door to a system that looks more like the internet itself.

The default story has become: build privately, reward privately. We should at least ask whether that story still serves the public.

Initial @RobinhoodApp @AskRobinhood @vladtenev Robinhood Social feedback: Overall, this is amazing. Super cool and adds validity to posting trades that X does not allow. You just have to take someones word that they actually did what they posted on X Feedback: (1A/1B) This next one is more of a validity of trades posted features and biggest question 1a. When you decide to post a trade, an option for 'post trade only' or 'post trade and closing trade(s)' where Robinhood Social automatically posts the trade when it is closed. Along with on the initial post a banner maybe that reads 'trade validated' as like a notion that anyone following it knows 'Ok we will get an actual open and close post' OR 1b. A stat on the users profile that includes percentage of how many trade opens posted with subsequent trades closed vs just trade opens posted (A nice way of seeing how many people are posting trades and whether transparent or posting and closing behind the scenes) 2. Currently looks like you can only post 'Invest' trades not ROTH IRA/Traditional IRA 3. The 1D P&L probably great for day traders. Option to be able to filter that to 7D, 1 Month, 6 Month (helps when looking at users to potentially follow, more than just 1 Year.) 4. (Minor ask) When you click on your profile, can the "+" also be incorporated on that page as well (the number of times ive clicked the pen button and thats edit profile instead)

Earlier in my career, a lot of energy went into proving that we could build something meaningful. Over time, the focus shifted. The question became less about whether we could create and more about what deserves to exist. That has pushed me toward a bigger view of access and ownership. For a long time, many of the best financial tools, opportunities, and networks were concentrated in a relatively small world. I think a healthier future gives far more people a real stake in the system. That belief has only gotten stronger as Robinhood has grown and as I have seen how much demand there is for a more inclusive model.

Big milestone — Robinhood Banking just crossed $1.5B in deposits from nearly 100K funded customers, and deposits are up ~50% in the past three weeks. The team is cooking 🔥 Robinhood is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services are provided by Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC.

Update: $HOOD It has been two days since this happened. I have emailed Robinhood’s social media team twice with no response. I have messaged @AskRobinhood multiple times with no response. They replied publicly saying they sent me a DM but I never received one. The March 27 deadline from their own terms is tomorrow. Still waiting. I am a Robinhood Gold member and use their Gold credit card daily. Over 450,000 people have seen this post. Do the right thing. $HOOD @RobinhoodApp @vladtenev @AskRobinhood

INSANE!! @RobinhoodApp told me I won a $150,000 Private Jet Vacation. Their own support team confirmed it. Then they called me to say never mind. Here’s what happened. I got an official email from Robinhood today saying I won their January Gold Sweepstakes Grand Prize. The prize was a private jet vacation to Turks and Caicos valued at $150,000. I had until March 27 to redeem it. This seemed too good to be true. So before I got excited, I contacted Robinhood customer support to verify it was legitimate and not a phishing email. I was transferred to a specialist. After reviewing my account, the agent told me: “I am glad to inform you that you’re a winner! Congratulations! So thrilled for your big win!” The agent also confirmed the email I received was a legitimate email from Robinhood. I then told the agent I hadn’t received the separate redemption email from Merkle/HelloWorld that was required to claim the prize. They escalated the issue for me. Shortly after, I got a phone call from Robinhood telling me the email was sent by mistake. I didn’t actually win the Grand Prize. I won a 1 gram gold bar worth approximately $201. According to Robinhood’s own official sweepstakes terms and conditions, the Grand Prize winner has the option of accepting an alternate cash prize of $100,000 instead of the trip. So Robinhood sent me the Grand Prize email. Their support team verified it. They confirmed the email was legitimate. They escalated my claim. And then they called me back to say it was all a mistake and I actually won a $201 gold bar. That is a $100,000 difference. The official email was wrong. The support agent who verified my account and confirmed the win was wrong. The confirmation that the email was legitimate was wrong. The escalation was pointless. Four separate points of failure before someone caught it. I use Robinhood every single day. You can see it in my charts I post. I’ve been a loyal Gold member. And this is how you treat your customers? This is the reputation you guys want? Has anyone else experienced something like this? $HOOD @AskRobinhood @RobinhoodApp @vladtenev @amitisinvesting robinhood.com/us/en/support/…

There are two possible futures: 1. AI companies generate the vast majority of major discoveries and inventions in-house, using their massive data-centers, and capture nearly all the value themselves. 2. AI companies build tools people can use, and the value and glory from the inventions / discoveries accrue to the users. This unleashes a torrent of mathematical discovery and entrepreneurial activity. The latter is the future we believe in and are working to build. The former is the dystopian one.
Harmonic@HarmonicMath

There are two ways to build AI for mathematics. One is to work in private and surface results after the fact. The other is to put real tools in the hands of mathematicians, learn from real use, engage in public, credit the community you build on, and support the ecosystem itself. We believe in the second model. Mathematics is a profoundly human endeavor. AI should strengthen mathematicians, not route around them. Build with mathematicians, not around them.

After weeks of debate, I’m encouraged that a conclusion may finally be in sight. It’s important that Congress and regulators remain flexible in determining the activities that allow for the payment of interest or yield. Above all else, we need clear market structure rules to continue to lead the way in crypto and blockchain technology. It’s time to stop the stalling and let the future of finance move forward. 🇺🇸

3. Stablecoins aren't bank accounts. Concerns about deposit flight overestimate the average consumer's desire to swap FDIC insurance for incremental yield. If yield were the only factor, these deposits would have migrated to MMFs years ago.

We must unleash the yield, safely. We’re at a momentous turning point for our industry. If Congress passes the CLARITY Act, we finally get the regulatory certainty we've been advocating for. So what’s the hold up? Deciding if customers should earn yield from their stablecoin holdings. To get this right, we must prioritize what matters most for Americans: value and safety.
