How many hours have you backtested this month? Mine is a bit low, will try to do 20+ in March.

@rotrade93 Great advice, Tim. This is where a monthly review provides value. Focus on what you did wrong, what you did well, and how your emotions were. Formulate some key focus points for the coming month and live by them every day.

If you’re struggling with your trading right now, hear me out. Markets are crazy right now. The start of the year is often messy and tough to trade. Don’t let social media fool you. Seeing constant payouts doesn’t mean you’re behind. Your path. Your pace. This space still lacks maturity and credibility. Trading isn’t easy and 20–30% every month like you often see here? Mostly fiction. Be careful what content you consume. It messes with your head more than your strategy. Stay patient. Protect your capital. February is a new month. Wishing you all a strong one.

Girlfriends parents think I’m a trading genius because I showed them a few prop firm payouts. Her dad gave me $5k to trade with that I turned into $10k in 3 months. He gave me $30k then and I ended up losing it all in a few days when I was tilting. Wtf do I actually do now? This will ruin my relationship with her parents and I want to marry her.

Markets are wild right now. Dollar is getting crushed and reactions follow. But you know what seperates good traders from the rest? Moments like this. Not the strategy, the discipline to actually follow it when it’s hard. If you’ve done the work, trust it. Stay calm. Execute.

I don’t use indicators. I don’t chase strategies. I don’t complicate charts. I trade Support & Resistance with pure Price Action. Less noise. More patience. Simplicity is my edge. C A N S L I M (CAN-SLIM) William O’Neil.

Most traders OBSESS over the destination... But REFUSE to walk the path. They want the glory WITHOUT the grind. The profits WITHOUT the process. The success WITHOUT the struggle. And then wonder WHY they keep failing? The market ONLY rewards those who embrace BOTH the journey AND the discipline it demands. Your results are ALWAYS a reflection of your commitment to the process.

Prop firms skew your perception of trading They make you think 15% is a small return because that’s what it takes to pass a Phase 1 & 2 When in reality, even for the best traders, it will likely take MONTHS for you to reach a 15% return New traders get an unrealistic view of the markets based on these prop firm challenges and what they see (fake) traders posting online Start taking trading slowly and realise that it will probably take a few months for you to pass a challenge But once you’ve passed that, made payouts and re-invested them into more Then it can only take about a year or less to build to $1M in funded capital - where 3-5% monthly returns can make you a LOT of money Stop having a false expectation on the markets Take it slow, try to aim for 30-50% a year and don’t get discouraged when you go through drawdown periods

Week 3 of 2026 — Trading Summary One of the most frustrating trading weeks in a long time. This week was rough. Ups and downs. Stopped out. Second-guessed. I started the week with a loss on $EURUSD on Monday being 100% on the wrong side of the market. And honestly, that didn’t bother me much. Losses are part of the game as long as they’re taken according to the plan. At that point, my overall January performance across all funded accounts (including my @DarwinexZero account) was sitting around breakeven. From Wednesday onward, my pre-session outlooks played out almost perfectly. On Thursday, I executed a solid buy on my $200k @AlphaCapitalUK & @FundedNext funded accounts. What followed was one of the most frustrating trades I’ve had in the past year. A trade that had 1:5 RR potential ended up being stopped at breakeven… by 0.1 pips. Luckily I took this trade on a challenge too by market executing and getting a better fill with @E8Markets 200k challenge which was a win. Unfortunate? Absolutely. Something I can change after the fact? Not at all. Growth doesn’t happen in the green weeks. It happens when you stay disciplined despite the noise, and when you show up the next day determined to learn, not just to win. I’m not here because it’s easy. I’m here because I refuse to quit.

Week 2 of 2026 : Trading Summary We’re already halfway through January, and it genuinely feels like it’s going to be a great year. I closed the week with just one trade on my funded accounts with @AlphaCapitalUK , @the5erstrading , and @DarwinexZero + $200k challenge with @E8Markets on $EU which ended in a loss. But after all these years in the markets, I’m fully aware that all it takes is 2–3 strong days of clean price action to turn the entire month around. After two trading weeks, I’m honestly feeling at my best. My discipline and patience are exactly where they need to be, and that’s what matters most. Looking forward to a strong week ahead. Have a blessed Sunday

@asentimothee There is something like confirmation bias. When you feed your brain bad thoughts, it starts scanning to confirm them. Feed it positivity, and it will do the same. You are what you think.

@SJosephBurns Trading is brutal. To be honest, the journey sometimes makes me really depressed. But I know the moment you want to quit is the moment you're really close. I'm already funded but currently in a drawdown.
