Currently sitting on a flight. The woman across the aisle from me is wrangling a toddler + a child who is maybe 5 yrs old. The toddler is crying and the child is throwing a tantrum. The husband? Sitting in the row in front of them wearing noise canceling headphones. A useless man

25% increase week on week in Covid hospital admissions in England - increases seen across all regions except London. The latest wave continues. Note that this is not (yet?) the new variant BA.2.86 ("Pirola") which is a small % of sequenced cases, but mostly Omicron XBB variants.

@BegocCab @delaneykingrox Thanks - it’s hard not being able to help (and harder being the person that has to pull all the weight while also being the target of their anger and frustration). Sometimes they will get suddenly “unstuck” but i haven’t been able to determine what caused that

@VMuise @delaneykingrox I spent like three hours trying to figure out a good answer, and I think that kind of illustrates the issue. There is no universal solution. If there was, there wouldn't be a problem. Just keep trying to find out systems that make the processes as easy as possible.

Is there a @thecure face value ticket exchange for Montreal? I haven't been able to find coverage for my Saturday shift here in Halifax (have pleaded with everyone I can possibly think of) & can't fly up for the show (I will give the ticket away if that's even a possibility)
