Happy New Year from the Cook-White Administration!

Tomorrow morning, I will be joining @POTUS47Cook to hold our first press conference of the new year. We will be discussing the action we have taken towards reducing the spread of COVID-19, and the response efforts taken by the @CookWhiteHouse to address the ongoing CO wildfires.

President Cook called the governor of Colorado to discuss the ongoing wildfire events going on and how the federal government could best help. Firs things first, we need to assess damages to make sure everyone is accounted for and received all aide necessary.

We are continuously working with FEMA to ensure everything is going as smoothly as possible. In addition, the White House will be working to strategize the recovery process of the affected areas. Our goal is to get Colorado back and running after these events end.

This morning, President Cook spoke with the governor of Colorado to determine what’s the best the federal government could do to get the state of Colorado aide. First things first, damages need to be assessed and everyone needs to be accounted for.

Today, I have authorized the temporary transfer of power (and all presidential duties) to Vice President White for the remainder of the day (12/10).
