@reachAJ @vrbo So true. My rental had blood and urine on the bedding and mold in the shower. We left due to health concerns. No refund offered. Never booking vrbo again.

@vrbo Is this vrbo standards? Had to check out due to health concerns of mold in bathroom, urine and blood on bedding and asthmatic children. Yet no refund was offered. Be careful booking with vrbo. This property had good ratings and reality did not match the online version.

#VRBO is not focused on their customers - I rented a beachfront unit from Friday-Sunday (April 24-26th) in OC Maryland for a girls volleyball tournament. The hot water did not work. The owner claimed the issue was because I was his first rented of the season and he was on the west coast - We left on Saturday am as it was filthy, as well. We had to stay elsewhere so we could, you know, shower. #VRBO claims they cannot get a response from the owner therefore they are claiming he denied it and I am out of luck. So beware when using #VRBO - they aren’t concerned about the paying end user - they care more about the slumlord.

@kdope85 @Airbnb It's stressing me out because not only did we pay $900 for a place we did not stay at, we also paid $900+ for a place we had to book last minute due to our other host ghosting us. I'm so upset bc I have always used airbnb. Vrbo is also awful. Definitely going to look for hotels.

I have stayed at Airbnb for years and they took $900 from me for a place I didn't even stay at. This is crazy. No wonder people always say hotels are better. I already have another Airbnb booked for August, I'm reconsidering just canceling it and booking a hotel. @Airbnb

@vrbo one of the worst experiences I have ever had a platform is yours. Made a reservation only to find out it was basically deleted and your team took 2 hours to correct the mistake. Which by that time 10pm I had driven 60 miles to another city. The most horrible EXPERIENCE EVER

We definitely have receipts, though of her, threatening us to not send the work phone. We definitely have receipts of her posting sensitive company numbers. We definitely have receipts from the flights, vrbo, air bnb, Ubers, personal rides to and from the airport, business dinners and personal ones, cash apps etc, not to mention the bar tab i closed out both nights ;) and I don’t even drink.
