When I pushed back and said listing had top amenities, she offered to do a couple loads for me. Um. Not interested, but no prob cuz 5 min later she said she contacted VRBO and said they told her she didn’t have to do it. Wait what? You advertise washer and dryer, but no guests?

Just had the worst experience with @vrbo In the middle of a camping trip and booked a home specifically for laundry availability (out of most clean clothes) and location. Host advertised washer & dryer. Instead, when I asked about a need for detergent, they said not for guests.

@globalnews @vrbo 2/2 They booked a big apartment to accommodate a newborn and @vrbo refuses to make it right, only offering them teeny tiny airport hotel rooms, even though they had a week booked. Really good story here. DM me for more

1/2 @globalnews how about my best friend takes a flight to MTL for a family vacation with their 1 year old daughter. Their @VRBO host cancels on them last second before they get on their flight from Vancouver to Montrael.

@vrbo It seems to be fixed now.

If you have an account on @VRBO check it and probably remove any saved credit cards. I logged in as me, clicked on "My Trips" and was in as someone named Rolf in Canada. I can see all his info and probably book a trip in his name. I called VRBO and got hung up on twice.

Dear @vrbo you have a host who rented to friends of mine. I am an agent that rented this for them. This needs to be dealt with. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! There are no excuses. She is responsible for the unit not her cleaners or lack there of. Offering a bottle of wine ? Nope.

.@vrbo I am urging everyone I know NEVER TO USE YOUR SERVICES. I booked a rental I did not know and was not told was ILLEGAL, was forced to move out with a few hours notice by building management who are in the process of evicting the lessees for illegal use.

@MairaSchwenke We got to our VRBO after a day of driving and it was as if a family of seven with as many pets just left as we showed up, pet hair everywhere, the place was a wreck. That has no alternative for us for the day, only refunded half our money and wouldn't let us leave a review.

@amelia_tweetz I've been canceled twice recently by my airbnb or vrbo. I've never been canceled by a hotel.

I think I’ve reached the point where I’d rather stay in a hotel than an Airbnb. I don’t want to buy groceries. I don’t want to take out the trash. I don’t want to strip the bed before checkout. I want a cozy hotel room, breakfast waiting downstairs, housekeeping doing their thing, and zero responsibilities while I’m on vacation. When I’m traveling, I want to be a guest, not a temporary homeowner.
