We humans live in the troposphere, along with all other living things. This layer also contains things such as weather and airplanes. It can be up to 10 miles high. #apesair@franklinlorax
My breaker box distributes energy all throughout my house. I am sure to turn off all facilities when not in use to keep my energy usage to a minimum. By lowering the amount of energy I use, I can reduce the CO2 emissions in the environment! @franklinlorax#apesenergy
Although wind power isn't the most efficient way of gathering energy, it is very clean and renewable. That is the reason behind wind farms such as this one below. #apesenergy@franklinlorax
Since I live in Franklin, this light is being powered by a coal fire plant. The coal is burned to heat up water which turns into steam, which flows into a turbine, which turns a generator, producing electricity. #apesenergy@franklinlorax
My neighbor planted these trees about a year ago after they cut some down in their yard. This is a great example of sustainably as they replaced the trees that were removed. This results in positives for the future and positives for the current time. @franklinlorax#apesland
These trees behind my forest are very important for the environment! If they were to be chopped down using the clear cutting method, we would see more erosion in our backyard and there would be less oxygen admitted into the atmosphere. @franklinlorax#apesland
Plants, like the Christmas Cactus, rely on clean and healthy soil. Making sure its acidity, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium levels are in their proper regions, plants can grow big in no time! #apesland@franklinlorax
My family cut down the trees that had been there for 40 years. We planted these new trees, which is an example of sustainable growth. We will then be able to cut the these trees down in 40 years. #apesland@franklinlorax
@RG508631apes@franklinlorax Like you, I also find ways to reduce my carbon footprint. But instead of using refillable bottles, I ride my bike more to reduce carbon emissions.
Jaycee is going to the desert for four days😮 Bringing trail mixes is a great way to satisfy her hunger due to the high calorie count that it contains!!! #apespop@franklinlorax
When going on backpacking trips, it's very important to bring the right type of food. Trail mix is a perfect snack for backpacking! The carbohydrates, proteins, and fats all make sure the body is well nourished for a day in the wilderness! #apespop@franklinlorax
I'm happy that there are no laws that restrict the number of kids in a family household. So that I still am able to have my three sisters in my house.

My family and I eat a lot of meat. Although we get protein from the meat, we need to cutdown on this consumption and eat more vegetables. This would decrease our carbon footprint and the global hectares it takes to support us. @franklinlorax#apespop
This is my dog, Emmett. He is 4 years old and is a k-strategist. Dogs like Emmett produce few offspring nurturing them until they grow self-reliant. Unlike r-strategists who have offspring for quantity, k-strategists care for their offspring. #apeseco@franklinlorax
@MF508412Apes@franklinlorax Wisconsin is perfect for her because if we lived in a biome like a tundra, she wouldn’t get all of these seasons. She would just be really cold.
@franklinlorax#apeseco My dog Daisy (a K-strategist) can enjoy all 4 season as she lives in a temperate seasonal forest. She can play in the snow during the winter and swim all day in the summer.
My dog and all dogs are r-strategists. This means they are different from humans. They focus more on quantity rather than quality.
